About Us: Fostering a Vibrant Hockey Community

Founded in February 2025, Lion City Hockey Club is a passionate group dedicated to growing the sport of field hockey in Singapore. We foster a welcoming and inclusive community, providing opportunities to play, learn, and connect through the game. Our mission is to make hockey accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

We believe that hockey is more than just a sport - it's a way of life. Our community provides a platform for social interaction, healthy competition, and personal development. We encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for the game.

Hockey Programs for All Levels

We offer a range of programs to cater to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players. Whether you're looking to learn the fundamentals or improve your game, we have a program for you.

Join our introductory hockey clinics to learn the basic skills, equipment, and rules. You can also participate in our structured development programs designed to refine your skills and techniques.

For experienced players, we have competitive leagues and training sessions to push your game to the next level.

Competitive and Social Play for all levels

League Games

Join our competitive league for a challenging and rewarding hockey experience. The Men league (Div. 5) will run on the second half of the year. This is a good opportunity for you to learn and horn your hockey skills with the more experienced players in the team

Liga Games

Develop your hockey skills, build camaraderie with fellow players, and experience the thrill of competition in a supportive environment in our Social Liga which run throughout the year. We welcome all individuals with a passion for the sport!

If competition is not for you, join us in our regular training! It's never too late to start!

Liga Carnival - 25 January 2025

In January 2025, our Men's Veterans team took part in the Hockey Liga Carnival at SKA Premiere Pitch and came home with a TROPHY!!!

Overseas Hockey Carnival

Penang - Malaysia

In May 2025, we participated in our 1st Overseas Hockey Tournament - 9th Penang Prince of Wales Isles Xokei Club Carnival!

Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam

Our team of 9 participated in the Ho Chi Minh City Hockey Festival (8-9 November 2025) and came back with the Championship trophy for the Open Mixed Category!


World Masters Hockey Tournament (July - August 2026 in Netherlands and Belgium)

Some of our members participated in the World Masters Hockey Tournament in the O40s, O45s, O50s and O55s category, representing Team Singapore: Raymond, Kelvin, Fuzz, Elmi, Ismail, Simon, Ramesh, Ben, Yeow Hua
